Waikato District Council is responsible for the management and maintenance of water supply schemes, wastewater schemes and urban stormwater throughout the district as well as Tamahere and Te Kauwhata stormwater drainage areas. We are accountable for and involved in providing appropriate water, wastewater and stormwater services to ratepayers.
Find out about water supply, wastewater, how to apply for a connection, septic tanks, trade waste, stormwater and how to save water with the Smart Water campaign. Our water-related activities also help to environmentally protect water in the Waikato region.
